Digressions in Pixels is my photoblog which I hope would chronicle my passion for photography.

My venture into digital photography began with the humble point and shoot camera, Nikon Coolpix 4100. But with the advent of great improvements in digital SLR technology and consequently their affordability, I was able to seriously try dSLR photography with the entry level consumer dSLR camera, Nikon D40x. With renewed interest, I found myself capturing images with a whole new appreciation. I have since upgraded to Nikon D200 and thus continue having serious amazing fun with photography.
I have been posting my images in Flickr; where, with the feedback received from a very supportive community of photography enthusiasts, I have learned so much about this wonderful hobby. However, I am a work in progress still looking forward to learning more and improving my skills.
Most of the images I have captured were taken in and around Adelaide, South Australia. As travelling is another passion (a justifiable excuse to improve on photography), you will naturally see images chronicling these journeys.
