April 25 is the national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand – ANZAC Day – “that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and the contribution and suffering of all those who have served“.

Interesting buildings in New Town, Prague adorned with Art Deco and Art Nouveau architectural details:

The Koruna Palace (Na Příkopě  corner Wenceslas Square) was built in 1910 by the architects Antonin Pfeiffer and Matěj Blecha. The angular tower has statues on the crown which were works of Vojtech Sucharda (c 1912-1914).
